What kind of music soothes your soul? Country, jazz, rock, classical, instrumental? I am a fan of good old classic rock, and country doesn't do a thing for me. It's funny, since both my parents listened to country and that's what I grew up listening to. Maybe that's why I can't stand to listen to it today! I was over dosed on country music until I hit about 13 years old and I discovered rock music, much to the horror of my father. My mother was pretty okay with it because she liked to dance to anything. Years later ( and I'm not saying how many years), I still love to roll the windows down in the car and crank that rock music! Driving music! The wind blowing your hair and the radio tuned to a classic rock station. Some of the stuff that passes for music today ..well..some of it (most of it) doesn't make any sense to me. You can't even understand the words. Oh, it's loud, I'll give you that. I will admit that there are a few rap tunes that get my foot to tapping, but very few. Dance music is great. There's nothing like getting up there on the dance floor and just letting it all go! I LOVE the old classic Beatle music, as I think almost everybody does. They were great, and the music still lives on. So, as much as I hate to admit it, I am a die hard rocker at heart and I always will be. Go figure.
