Nothing beats the tunes of Mozart and Bach to this date. Even though Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart turned 250 years in 2006, his music is still fresh and alive. It is practiced in hundreds of music schools and other places everyday. His classical music is still played in various opera even today. Well amidst the discussion on Mozart's classical music achievements and popularity we must not forget Johann Sebastian Bach and Ludwig von Beethoven. These two contemporary figures have an equal share in the classical music as Mozart's. Probably Classical music would have been way different without these great musicians. Though not yet popular in USA, Indian sub-continent's classical music is by far the oldest and is still alive in its original form.
